We are seeking an experienced and reliable Pipe Layer to join our growing team in London N18. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing pipe systems.
- Lay, connect, and repair pipes for water, drainage, gas, and other systems.
- Prepare trenches and excavation sites, ensuring correct alignment and gradient.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and light machinery safely and effectively.
- Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Maintain equipment and tools in good working order.
- Work collaboratively with team members and other trades on site.
- Follow all health and safety procedures, maintaining a safe working environment.
- Report any issues, delays, or hazards to supervisors promptly.
This is a physically demanding role requiring attention to detail, technical skill, and strict adherence to health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pipe Layer or similar role.
- Knowledge of pipe-laying techniques, materials, and tools.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy materials.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Aware of health and safety regulations (CSCS card preferred).
- Reliable and punctual, available Monday to Saturday (Sunday optional).
