We are looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our maintenance team at Doncaster DN11. The role involves fault finding, repairs, preventative maintenance, and continuous improvement activities to ensure plant equipment operates safely and efficiently with minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair electrical and electro-mechanical faults.
  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance.
  • Maintain equipment performance to achieve production and quality targets.
  • Complete maintenance documentation accurately.
  • Adhere to Health, Safety, and Environmental procedures.
  • Support continuous improvement and Lean initiatives.
  • Work independently and as part of a multi-skilled team.

Requirements

  • Electrical Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
  • ONC/BTEC, HNC/BTEC, or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
  • 17th or 18th Edition qualified.
  • Manufacturing experience essential; heavy industry or FMCG preferred.
  • Knowledge of Siemens PLCs (S7/TIA Portal).
  • Strong fault-finding, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Good understanding of motors, pneumatics, and mechanical systems.
