The predicted salary is between 31 - 34 £ per hour.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Fitter / Assembler to join a busy workshop team on a full-time basis. Monday - Friday 8AM-4:30PM Pay: £15-£16.80 / hr

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling new agricultural machinery to a high standard while working from technical drawings and specifications.

Key Duties

  • Assemble new agricultural machinery within a workshop environment
  • Install and fit mechanical components accurately and efficiently
  • Work from engineering drawings to aid assembly
  • Collaborate with experienced engineers and workshop staff
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and to company standards

Skills & Experience Required

  • Previous fitting and assembly experience, ideally within machinery or agricultural equipment manufacturing
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Knowledge of hydraulics and 12V electrical systems
  • Good attention to detail and practical problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable

  • Experience working with agricultural machinery
  • Understanding of hydraulic systems and electrical installations
