We are seeking an experienced and motivated Fitter / Assembler to join a busy workshop team on a full-time basis. Monday - Friday 8AM-4:30PM Pay: £15-£16.80 / hr
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling new agricultural machinery to a high standard while working from technical drawings and specifications.
Key Duties
- Assemble new agricultural machinery within a workshop environment
- Install and fit mechanical components accurately and efficiently
- Work from engineering drawings to aid assembly
- Collaborate with experienced engineers and workshop staff
- Ensure all work is completed safely and to company standards
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous fitting and assembly experience, ideally within machinery or agricultural equipment manufacturing
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Knowledge of hydraulics and 12V electrical systems
- Good attention to detail and practical problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable
- Experience working with agricultural machinery
- Understanding of hydraulic systems and electrical installations
