Rate of Pay - £17.50 ph CIS
We're looking for Demolition Operatives/ Labourers to carry out demolition and general labouring duties on construction or deconstruction sites safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the demolition of structures including buildings, walls, and other construction elements
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and small plant equipment (subject to training and certification)
- Sort and remove debris, recyclable materials, and hazardous waste from site
- Carry out soft strip works (removal of non-structural elements such as fittings, ceilings, flooring etc.)
- Follow instructions from supervisors to ensure work is carried out safely and on schedule
- Load and unload building materials, equipment, and tools
- Erect and dismantle temporary structures such as fencing and scaffolding (if trained)
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Assist other trades and site personnel as required
- Adhere to company policies and site safety procedures at all times
- CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card (preferred)
- Awareness of Health & Safety practices on site
