We’re looking for a driven communicator, to develop relationships across the bank, ensuring a cooperative approach to lead generation. You’ll be building relationships with and managing our clients, in-line with our customer strategy and marketing plans. This is an opportunity to really make this role your own, allowing excellent exposure for you and your work.

What you’ll do:

  • As a Relationship Director, you’ll be providing financial services to Mid-Market growth businesses by engaging them with respect, professionalism and credibility in all situations.
  • In order to succeed in your role, you’ll develop a robust network of external contacts across the wider business community.
  • You’ll also be using your leadership and motivational skills to manage a sub team, which will contribute to the performance and sustainable profitability of your franchise.
  • Developing an origination strategy for the creation of new customers within your territory.
  • Working with and supporting your team to make sure credit stewardship responsibilities are carried out and high qualities of new and existing lending is maintained.
  • Building, maintaining and managing relationships at all levels across the bank.
  • Making sure all credit and operational risk policies are understood and being adhered to.

The skills you’ll need:

  • Proven experience in a financial role along with a clear understanding of credit markets and best practice in lending.
  • The ability to analyse and interpret complex corporate situations, anticipate future business trends and evaluate strategic options.
  • A background in providing imaginative and creative solutions to complex problems.
  • A strong understanding of the relevant businesses and underlying products.
  • The ability to communicate with impact to senior level within the business, other professionals and with customers.
  • A strong customer focus and excellent relationship management skills.
  • A proven ability to formulate or deliver a business strategy.

With 18 months to complete your studies, you’ll have the ability to tailor a journey to your own individual learning needs too, which will combine self-study in the form of workbooks and e-learning, and workshops.
