Reporting to the Housing and Communities Manager, the Housing Officer is responsible for assisting with the management of general needs, supported and emergency accommodation owned by RBLI on the 72-acre RBLI Village in Aylesford. This includes ensuring that RBLI's housing and maintenance policies and procedures are effectively implemented.
The role involves:
- Providing exceptional customer service to RBLI residents in the allocation and management of RBLI properties.
- Management of short-term waiting lists including the initial assessment of applications for emergency accommodation (HMO), general needs, and supported accommodation (Over 55's).
- Monitoring and management of rent debt and the recovery of rent arrears.
