The Municipal Hotel & Spa MGallery is a 5* boutique hotel located in Liverpool, offering a luxury spa, multiple restaurants, bars, and a state‑of‑the‑art spa sanctuary.
As a Spa Host you will create a luxurious, personalised experience for guests, guiding them through our 5‑star spa journey. You will ensure exceptional care, relaxation and well‑being, maintaining the highest standards of service and presentation.
What We Need From You
- Proactivity in maintaining the spa to the highest standard at all times.
- A positive can‑do attitude and passion for representing our hotel and MGallery luxury brand.
- Exceptional teamwork skills.
- Experience or knowledge with pool/water testing is desirable but not essential.
- Passion‑filled spa enthusiasm driven by quality care and wellness.
- Excellent presentation skills and attention to detail with adaptability to change.
- A customer‑focused approach in maintaining luxury environments and guest journey from arrival to departure.
- Flexibility on shift times during weekdays & weekends, varying from 6.15 am start to 9 pm finish based on allocated shift time, inclusive of shifts in between.
Other duties include
- Leading client show rounds to demonstrate all spa offerings and the ultimate journey of relaxation and wellness.
- Providing expert advice by identifying individual guest needs and promoting all spa offerings from treatments and thermal experiences to food & beverage and retail products.
- Maintaining hygiene, cleanliness and H&S requirements; taking pride in all areas of work within the spa and pool areas both within guest view and behind the scenes.
- Completing host duties to ensure efficiency of column dispersion, communication with guests and departmental colleagues across the hotel.
- Stock control, management, cash handling, banking and accurate reporting.
- Time management and proactivity, taking ownership and pride in the whole spa through teamwork.
- Pool emergency responder duties.
