Spa Therapist

We opened the first 5* Hotel in Liverpool – The Municipal Hotel & Spa MGallery – in May 2023, reviving a historic building and creating a unique luxury spa experience. Our Heartists® team strives to deliver memorable, heartfelt moments to every guest in our 179-stunning rooms and award‑winning spa.

Responsibilities

As a Spa Therapist you will create a luxurious, personalised experience for guests, offering tailored treatments that ensure exceptional care, relaxation, and well‑being.

• Lead client show rounds to demonstrate all spa offerings and the journey of relaxation and wellness.
• Provide expert skincare advice, identify guests’ prescriptive needs, and sell products.
• Maintain hygiene, cleanliness and H&S requirements across treatment rooms, the spa and pool areas.
• Complete reception duties on an ad‑hoc basis to ensure efficient column dispersion.
• Manage stock control, accurate reporting and inventory.
• Exercise time management and proactivity outside the treatment room and take ownership of the spa team’s overall pride.

Qualifications

• Positive can‑do attitude and passion to stand out and be proud of our hotel and MGallery brand.
• Level 3 NVQ / BTEC in Beauty Therapy or equivalent.
• Passion‑filled spa enthusiast driven by quality care and wellness.
• Excellent presentation skills and attention to detail, demonstrating adaptability to change.
• Customer‑focused approach maintaining luxury from the treatment room to all spa areas.
• Flexibility to work varied days, weekends and shifts.
