A DAY IN THE LIFE OF THE NIGHT AUDITOR AT THE IMPERIAL HOTEL BLACKPOOL

What you\’ll be doing…

Reporting to the Operations Manager & Night Duty Manager, you can expect your working shift to include the following:

  • Consolidating accounts for the day
  • The review of all daily sales transactions of front office and F&B outlets and correctly posting revenue prior to running the night audit
  • Maintaining a presence on reception throughout the night dealing with in-house guest requests and the check-in of late arrivals
  • Conduct regular reservations checks for future bookings, to ensure correct revenue posting and accurate data capture
  • Ensure the safety and security of the Hotel and guests by conducting fire safety/security walks throughout the night
  • Occasional housekeeping duties, which will include function rooms, public areas, rest rooms and facilities for the following day
  • Occasional F&B support

  • Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably in the food and beverage industry or hospitality sector
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proficient in computer software, MS Office Suite and F&B management systems
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and adapt to changing priorities
