As our People & Culture Manager, you will play a pivotal role within the hotel leadership team, driving a positive, engaging, and high-performance culture across all departments. You will be responsible for shaping the colleague experience from attraction through to development, ensuring our people feel supported, valued, and inspired — all whilst aligning with Hyatt's brand culture and RBH values.
Key Responsibilities- People & Culture Strategy: Lead the implementation of the Hotel People & Culture Plan, ensuring alignment with Hyatt's culture, values, and budget. Partner with the General Manager, Heads of Department, and central teams to drive succession planning and internal development.
- Leadership & Culture: Foster a coaching culture that promotes respect, inclusion, and wellbeing. Act as a trusted advisor to the leadership team, supporting people-related decision making.
- Recruitment & Employer Branding: Manage end-to-end recruitment processes. Promote the hotel as an employer of choice across local and digital channels, championing diversity and inclusion.
- HR Operations & Compliance: Oversee all HR operations including onboarding, payroll, absence management, performance processes, and HR systems. Ensure full compliance with UK employment law and internal policies, maintaining fairness and integrity in all decisions.
- Learning & Development: Design and implement learning and development initiatives. Encourage innovation, continuous improvement, and personal growth across all teams.
- Engagement & Wellbeing: Drive reward, recognition, and engagement initiatives, including surveys and social activities. Lead wellbeing initiatives that support a positive colleague experience.
- Health, Safety & Risk: Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations, risk assessments, and industry standards. Model accountability and best practice across all areas of responsibility.
