We opened the first 5* Hotel in Liverpool – The Municipal Hotel & Spa MGallery – in May 2023 and have reset the clock within this historic building, bringing it back to life. Our Heartists aspire to create memorable, heartfelt moments for all life enjoyers to experience unique stories from the past and immerse themselves in our hospitality, creating their own astonishing tales of MGallery magical moments. The hotel boasts 179 stunning bedrooms, restaurants, bars, a state‐of‐the‐art spa, and a historic clock tower that sets the tempo for a timeless melody.

We are seeking a passionate and driven Digital Marketing Manager to join our Commercial Team, reporting to the Commercial Director of Sales and Marketing. The role requires a creative, data‐driven specialist to develop, implement and manage marketing campaigns that promote our brand, products and services, enhance brand awareness, drive website traffic and generate leads across digital channels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns across channels such as SEO, SEM, email, social media, and display advertising.
  • Manage and optimize paid advertising campaigns (Google Ads, social media ads).
  • Monitor and analyse campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics and other reporting platforms.
  • Create, curate and manage engaging content for websites, blogs and social media.
  • Conduct keyword research and implement SEO best practices.
  • Manage social media platforms and grow audience engagement.
  • Collaborate with content creators and other teams to ensure brand consistency.
  • Stay up‐to‐date with the latest digital marketing trends, tools, and technologies.
  • Generate reports and provide insights to improve campaign performance.
  • Lead menu updates in partnership with the operations team, delivering seamless launches supported by strategic, aligned marketing plans.
  • Drive innovative initiatives to promote and optimise spaces, creating unique and engaging event experiences along with the operational team.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of proven experience in digital marketing or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding and proven ability to manage SEO, SEM, PPC and social media marketing.
  • Experience with marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads and email marketing platforms.
  • Experience in website management, including CMS configuration (e.g., WordPress), HTML/CSS updates, SEO optimisation, performance monitoring and issue resolution.
  • Demonstrated experience working within established brand requirements to ensure consistency across all marketing and communication materials.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
