We opened the first 5* Hotel in Liverpool; the Municipal Hotel & Spa MGallery in May 2023 and brought this historic building back to life.

A Day in the Life of a Bar Supervisor
As Bar Supervisor you will assist in managing beverage service within the Palm Court and Seaforth restaurant and floor areas.
You will deliver top‑level customer service, meet financial and operational targets, and uphold licensing laws.
Your responsibilities include training, upskilling, and motivating the team, managing stock and bar closing reports, and driving efficiency and compliance with financial processes.
- What We Need From You
- At least one year of supervisory experience in a full‑service hotel or high‑footfall restaurant/bar.
- Strong passion for customer interaction and the drive to deliver 5* service.
- Ability to lead teams to maximize productivity, revenue, and upsell opportunities.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Weights and Measures Act, licensing laws, and safety campaigns.
- Proven record of operational excellence, creativity, marketing awareness, and strong product knowledge.
- Excellent planning, cost‑control, training, and communication skills.
- Other Duties
- Maintain service standards and guest satisfaction through training, mentoring, monitoring, feedback, and expectations.
- Ensure compliance with H&S, legal, and procedural controls.
- Handle delivery control and processing.
- Strategically maximize sales and identify upselling opportunities.
- Use people management skills to motivate the team in line with company policies.
- Collaborate positively with all departments, brand, and Heartists.
