A Day in the Life of a Kitchen Porter at Our Hotel
What you\’ll be doing…
- Keeping the kitchen running smoothly by cleaning and organizing equipment, utensils, and workspaces.
- Washing and sanitizing pots, pans, dishes, and other kitchen tools, ensuring everything is ready for the next dish.
- Assisting with basic food prep tasks, like peeling, chopping, or portioning ingredients, to support the chefs during busy shifts.
- Managing waste by disposing of rubbish, recycling, and maintaining a clean, safe environment.
- Keeping storage areas stocked, organized, and clean, ensuring supplies are easy to find and ready to use.
- Assisting with receiving and storing deliveries, helping to keep the kitchen stocked and organized.
