A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A HOUSEKEEPER AT THE PRINCIPAL YORK
What you\’ll be doing…
Reporting to the Executive Head Housekeeer, we are looking for someone who enjoys variation and has a flexible approach to their working environment. As a Housekeeper, you can expect your working day to include the following:
- Cleaning a room, to the highest possible standards, ensuring that everything is sparkling and ready for the guest.
- Working to ensure the back of house areas are clean and tidy.
- Ensuring the public areas are clean and safe.
You will be called upon to complete a wide variety of tasks and jobs within out hotel it\’s extremely important that you remain flexible and versataile around thease. Although this isn\’t a guest facing role, you will still play a vital part in delivering a fantastic guest experience and it\’s important to remain friendly, approachable and the best verision of you whenever you come into contact with one our guests.

To succeed in the role of housekeeper you will need the following qualities and skills/
- Outstanding attention to detail
- Experience within a customer facing role is preferred. No Experience? No big deal … we\’ll train you up!
