We are looking for a reliable and proactive Public Area Cleaner to help maintain exceptional cleanliness and presentation standards across our property. This varied role combines housekeeping responsibilities with public area and café cleaning duties, while providing operational support to the Duty Manager and assisting guests with requests as required.

The successful candidate will spend approximately half of their shift supporting housekeeping operations, including cleaning and servicing guest accommodation areas to company standards, and approximately half supporting the cleanliness, presentation and upkeep of the café, reception, toilets and public spaces. The role also involves assisting the Duty Manager with cleaning-related tasks, maintaining high standards across the site, responding positively to guest requests and helping to create a welcoming, safe and enjoyable environment for all guests and visitors.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A HOUSEKEEPING TEAM MEMBER:

  • Ensuring all rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas are cleaned to the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation.
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and facilities to maintain and improve quality standards, addressing any issues promptly.
  • Follow health and safety protocols, maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests.
