OUR HOTEL Your new role as Guest Service Assistant will be based at the Aloft Aberdeen, located on the site of The Event Complex Aberdeen (TECA). The hotel features 150 bedrooms, designed by Cooper Cromar with interiors by Twenty2Degrees. It is the first of its kind in Scotland, including amenities such as a WXYZ bar, RE:MIX lounge, and gym. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A GUEST SERVICE ASSISTANT What you\’ll be doing… Welcoming guests and creating a memorable first impression from check-in to check-out Handling check-ins, check-outs, and guest inquiries with ease Assisting guests with questions about local attractions and amenities Processing bookings and payments accurately Coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance to meet guest needs Maintaining a professional and inviting front desk environment Managing calls, emails, and reservations efficiently Going the extra mile to fulfill special requests and enhance guest experiences What We Need From You A welcoming personality and passion for guest service Excellent communication skills and team coordination Attention to detail in handling reservations and guest needs Problem-solving skills and a positive attitude Team spirit and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities High energy and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES RBH Hospitality Management is an equal opportunity employer.
