A Day in the Life
As an Events Porter at The Collector’s Hall, your duties will include:
- Setting up event spaces including furniture, décor, and equipment to the required layout and specification.
- Supporting the efficient breakdown and clear-down of events once complete.
- Transporting equipment, materials, and supplies safely across the venue.
- Loading and unloading deliveries efficiently and in line with manual handling guidelines.
- Keeping all event areas clean, organised, and presentable throughout each shift.
- Responding promptly to any on-the-day changes or requirements from the events team.
- Reporting any damages, maintenance issues, or health and safety concerns.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a similar role or within hospitality/events (preferred but not essential).
- A strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to take initiative.
- A reliable team player who can follow instructions and work well under pressure.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
