THE OPPORTUNITY

We have commenced our search for an experienced Front Office Manager to join Blackpools newest gem Holiday Inn Blackpool. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager. This brand-new four-star hotel is part of a wider regeneration project for Blackpool including retail units and improved public transport links, with a new tram terminal, all within the Talbot Gateway central business district. The property boasts 144 bedrooms,3 meeting rooms and well renowned restaurant Marco Pierre White New York Italian, with independent street access.

Duties and responsibilities for this amazing role includes the following:

  • Responsible for the day to day running of the front desk, overseeing shifts, managing guest expectations, and delivering guest satisfaction.
  • Acting as a Duty Manager on a rota basis.
  • Engage, lead and develop the team to provide excellent guest service.
  • Train and implement Brand standards within the team.
  • Ensure all team responsibilities are completed to the required standards.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

To succeed in the role of Front Office Manager, you will need the following qualities and skills.

  • Experience of working within a branded hotel environment, in a customer facing role.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining a positive can-do attitude.
  • Friendly efficient team player.
  • A visible leader who can demonstrate a confident approach to problem solving and service recovery.
  • Ability to train and develop your team, with a planned approach to managing the team.
  • Deliver excellent customer service.
  • Proactive shift management skills and great time management skills.
  • Enthusiastic with the ability to multitask.
  • Opera PMS experience preferred.
