A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FOOD & BEVERAGE HOST AT OUR HOTEL:
- Welcome guests with a warm smile and attentive service, making their experience enjoyable from start to finish.
- Taking reservations via phone, email or in-person and managing a waiting list where required.
- Using CRMs and reservations systems to maximise revenues for all F&B outlets.
- Record food covers accurately for all serving periods.
- Seating guests upon arrival & explaining the menu to guests answering questions they may have on menu knowledge & allergies.
- Assisting the restaurant floor team in operation when required during busy periods.
- Promote positive online reputation through encouraging guests to leave reviews.
- Take and process food and drink orders accurately, ensuring special requests are noted and fulfilled.
- Work closely with kitchen and bar teams to deliver a seamless service, supporting each other for a smooth operation.
What We Need From You:
- A friendly, professional approach with a passion for creating positive guest experiences.
- Prior food and beverage service experience is a plus, but we welcome a willingness to learn.
- Clear communication skills to interact confidently with guests and colleagues.
