A Day in the Life of a Meeting and Events Associate at The Edinburgh Grand
What youâll be doing...
- Deliver seamless meetings and events, ensuring every detail is executed to the highest standard from setup to breakdown.
- Welcome event organisers and guests with a professional and friendly approach, acting as a key point of contact throughout their event.
- Set up meeting and event spaces according to specifications, including layout, AV equipment, and catering requirements.
- Liaise closely with clients, understanding their needs and adapting quickly to any lastâminute changes.
- Coordinate with kitchen, bar, and frontâofâhouse teams to ensure smooth service delivery during events.
- Monitor event progress, proactively resolving any issues to maintain a flawless guest experience.
- Ensure all event spaces are clean, organised, and reset efficiently for upcoming functions.
- Support with food and beverage service during events when required, maintaining high presentation and service standards.
