AN EVENING IN THE LIFE OF NIGHT TEAM MEMBER AT OUR HOTEL
What you'll be doing
- Shift pattern 11pm-7am, working 2 nights out of 7, 16 hour per week. Working days of the week with change each week.
- Welcome late-arriving guests with a friendly smile and help them settle in, handling check-ins, check-outs, and everything in between.
- Handle night audits and end-of-day reports, serving on the bar, cleaning and resetting conference rooms ready for the next day, cooking, preparing and setting up buffet breakfast for early risers.
- Be the go-to for any guest requests during the night, whether it’s room service or an extra pillow, bringing comfort even in the wee hours.
- Ensure lobby and public areas are clean and tidy, setting the hotel up for a fresh start each morning.
- Monitor safety and security through regular checks, making sure guests enjoy a peaceful night’s stay.
- Coordinate with the early morning team to hand off a seamless shift, so everyone’s ready to take on the day.
This role is a multi-tasking role that involves working with the other team member on duty to ensure all tasks are complete.
