We have an exciting opportunity to join our Meeting and Events sales team here at The Met Hotel, Leeds. As a Conference and Events Coordinator, you will thrive on delivering great customer service and will go the extra mile to exceed our guests’ expectations. If you have a flair for organisation with great communication skills and can turn ideas into reality, then this varied and exciting role could be the role for you.
What you’ll be doing...
- Handling incoming Conference and Event enquiries from initial enquiry to post event follow up.
- Conducting show rounds and tours for prospective clients, showcasing and selling our beautiful hotel and meeting spaces.
- Liaising with clients, to understand their requirements, and ensure they have the best possible experience in the run up to their event.
- Using a keen eye for detail to ensure all event details are translated to the system and handed over to the Operations Team ensuring the smooth running of the event.
- Exceeding customers’ expectations and being motivated to continually develop service levels.
- Answering any questions, via email and phone, to ensure that all queries are dealt within an efficient and effective manner.
- Obtain client feedback and make appropriate changes for improvements.
- Driving sales activities through strategic planning and client engagement.

- Previous experience within a similar role is preferable but full training is provided.
