A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A BAR OPERATIONS MANAGER AT THE 5* MUNICIPAL HOTEL engaging with guests, elevating their experience, and embodying true Liverpool hospitality.
We’re looking for someone who has extensive experience in luxury or high-end hospitality, ideally within a premium bar environment. Leads from the front; hands-on, visible, and fully immersed in the guest experience. Brings strong commercial awareness, balancing cost control with exceptional quality and service. Understands the importance of consistency in a high-volume, flagship venue. Is passionate about training and developing teams, building knowledge in wines, spirits, and service excellence. Has a sharp eye for detail and takes pride in maintaining the highest standards. Is proactive, solution-focused, and calm under pressure. Communicates with confidence, warmth, and authenticity; reflecting the spirit of Liverpool. Thrives in a team that works hard, supports each other, and enjoys what they do.
Desirable: Level 2 WSET and Personal Licence holder.
