We're now looking for a Divisional Sales Director to join our Central Sales Team. This is a key leadership role within our commercial function, with responsibility for driving revenue performance across a portfolio of hotels.

The role

As Divisional Sales Director, you will lead and influence commercial performance across an allocated hotel portfolio, ensuring a strong, consistent sales approach that delivers against budget and drives sustainable growth. Operating as part of the central commercial function, you will provide direction, support, and accountability to hotel sales teams. You'll work closely with General Managers, brand partners, and central teams to ensure alignment and maximise every commercial opportunity. This is a highly visible role where you will lead by example; supporting, challenging, and directly contributing to sales delivery across multiple segments.

A Day in the Life of a Divisional Sales Director

  • Driving performance & commercial success
    • Support hotels through annual and quarterly commercial planning processes
    • Ensure robust sales pipelines and activity levels to deliver budgeted targets
    • Work closely with Revenue and Marketing to align sales strategy with pricing, demand, and positioning
    • Identify opportunities to optimise revenue through new channels, partnerships, and initiatives
    • Provide insightful performance updates and recommendations to the Senior Commercial Team
  • Leading collaboration & stakeholder engagement
    • Build strong relationships with General Managers, divisional teams, and central functions
    • Align closely with Brand Performance leadership to deliver brand initiatives and maximise performance
    • Ensure clear communication and alignment with RBH's wider commercial strategy
    • Support owner relationships where required, contributing to performance discussions
  • Embedding sales excellence & fundamentals
    • Drive consistency in sales processes, standards, and systems across all hotels
    • Champion effective use of Salesforce and other commercial platforms
    • Promote structured sales activity including account management, pipeline development, and conversion tracking
    • Support central sales initiatives, campaigns, and projects
  • Representing RBH in the market
    • Represent RBH at trade shows, events, and industry forums
    • Support development of key corporate, agency, and client relationships
    • Encourage strong local engagement and networking across hotel teams
    • Identify and develop new business opportunities across all segments

By driving performance, strengthening sales capability, and embedding best practice, you'll ensure our hotels consistently achieve and exceed their targets - while enhancing RBH's reputation as a leading hospitality management company.

What we need from you

  • Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role within hospitality (multi-site experience essential)
  • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering revenue growth
  • Experience working across multiple brands and stakeholder groups
  • Knowledge of key segments including Corporate, Leisure, Group, and Conference business
  • Strong understanding of revenue management and account profitability
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills at senior level
  • Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
  • Financial awareness including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L interpretation
  • Strong organisational, problem-solving, and decision making skills
  • Willingness to travel across the UK as required
