Role Overview
To strengthen our team as we continue to grow we are seeking a commercially driven Market Manager to join our dynamic team. Based out of our Manchester office or Almere in the Netherlands with hybrid working flexibility, you will lead growth initiatives across defined industry sectors and/or geographic markets. This is a strategic, customer-facing role focused on identifying new opportunities, strengthening existing relationships, and delivering sustainable gross profit growth.
Key Responsibilities
· Drive commercial growth through strategic business development and customer engagement
· Develop and execute sector-specific sales plans aligned with company objectives
· Identify and pursue new market opportunities across the UK and Europe
· Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and principals
· Analyse sales performance and market trends to inform decision-making
· Collaborate with our Principal partners, marketing, product management, and technical teams to enhance value proposition
· Maintain CRM accuracy and contribute to forecasting and sales reporting
Qualifications & Skills
· Proven sales and account management experience in a B2B industrial environment
· Degree-qualified in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field (BSc required)
· Strong commercial acumen with the ability to develop and execute growth strategies
· Skilled in market analysis, planning, and opportunity qualification
· Confident communicator with excellent negotiation and presentation skills
· Proficient in CRM tools and Microsoft Office applications
· Self-motivated, collaborative, and able to operate with a high degree of autonomy
· Experience in the manufacturing or materials sector is highly desirable
