What will you do? Responsible for the development of a client base, primarily increasing business with the generation of new clients, as well as developing and maintaining existing client relationships. Consistently leading interactions with wealth advice ensuring all interactions lead to a full understanding of clients and prospects gaining a deep understanding of their financial goal, personal goals, and ambitions. Operating with a growth mindset, managing a new business target, leading business development activities, and contributing towards the achievement of the group business plan, vision, and strategy. Consistently articulating full breadth of RBC proposition (e.g. investment, lending, cash, and trust solutions) to clients and prospects. Working as part of the broader wealth management team, and introducing the right specialists to client relationships, where required, to enhance client experience and deliver exceptional client outcomes. Always ensure clients are referred internally to ‘home of best fit’. Confidently take clients through as much of the advice journey as possible before involving other specialist colleagues. Leading and managing teams, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to ensure team members’ professional growth and delivery of exceptional services. Driving performance management, including goal setting, performance reviews, individual development conversations, and planning.
What do you need to succeed?
- Must-have: At least Level 6 CIB, CISI or CII. Level 4 can be considered if you have extensive experience to complement. Significant experience within a wealth management role. Proven Relationship Management skills, with ability to understand client needs, the knowledge and communication skills to identify and articulate solutions and the integrity to earn the client’s trust. An extremely detailed and diverse knowledge of business sectors, current business developments, market trends, and financial products and services to effectively communicate with clients. Acts as a role model and demonstrates a high degree of capacity to drive positive behaviours in team members and colleagues.
