Job Description
What is the opportunity?
We have an exciting opportunity for a Wealth Administrator to join the Wealth Management team in our Lincoln office.
The successful candidate will play an integral role in the day-to-day ongoing administration of client\’s accounts. This is a busy and varied role and no two days will be the same. You will be providing the best possible service to our colleagues and clients as part of a cohort of likeminded individuals, who strive to achieve great results while constantly learning and adapting to improving systems and working practises.
RBC\’s expectation is that all employees and contractors will work in the office with some flexibility to work up to 1 day per week remotely, depending on working arrangements.
What will you do?
- Communicate with Wealth Managers and their Associates, providing support with administration duties.
- Preparation and processing of all new client documentation and amendments.
- Monitor transfers of assets/cash from other institutions.
- Supporting new business applications through third-party providers.
- Liaise with colleagues within Business Support regarding administration of client accounts.
- Ensure client details and reviews are recorded correctly on systems.
- General record keeping and electronic filing.
- Adhering to Conduct Risk standards.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- Experience in administration within the IFA/Wealth management sector preferred
- Intermediate knowledge of Office 365 Suite and Outlook essential
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proactive individual
- Strong organisational and time management skills essential
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
Nice-to-have
- Experience in working with major platform providers
- Progress towards Diploma in Financial Planning
