The role of Team Leader, Asset Services, is responsible for coordinating and overseeing operational team tasks and ensuring mitigation of operational risk across the team while maintaining data integrity. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of operational procedures and practices, as well as the ability to support and implement process improvements, manage and resolve issues, and provide guidance and support to team members, to ensure the smooth operation of business processes and contribute to the achievement of organisational goals.
What will you do?
- Coordinate and monitor work to ensure it is produced to a high level of accuracy, in a timely manner and in-line with relevant WME Operations procedures, standards and SLAs.
- Ensure departmental guides, processes and procedures are maintained effectively and in-line with agreed timescales.
- Support management with timely and appropriate levels of escalation and resolution of risks and issues.
- Support a clear direction and purpose for the team(s) and understand the wider group strategy.
- Ensure and support the teams understanding and adherence to Risk & Control Framework and Policy Frameworks and engage proactively in regulatory and audit reviews.
- Support a culture of simplification and innovation via continuous improvement within the team(s), as well as working collaboratively with Operational Initiatives.
- Support line manager in oversight and delivery of associated changes or project tasks.

Must-have:
- Excellent leadership skills, with previous experience as a people manager.
- Understanding of the Financial Services sector.
- Proven level of IT proficiency and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong delegation skills.
- Experience of supporting internal and external stakeholder relationships.
