What is the opportunity?

This front-office facing Project Management role within Quantitative and Technology Services (QTS) consists of overseeing and managing the development efforts of applications for the Structured Rates Trading desks within the RAMPP (Risk, Analytics, Modelling, Pricing & Processing) organization.

The individual will work closely with the development teams to build the next generation analytics tools for the SRT business, as well as support existing rates derivatives tooling stack.

This is an opportunity to work closely with highly-engaged clients on client and server-based pricing technologies.

This London based position requires candidates to possess excellent communication, organizational and leadership skills and deal with trading/quant and support groups on a frequent basis.

What will you do?

  • The Project Manager is required to oversee the completion of development efforts for the Structured Rates Trade migration to Murex. Key objectives will be to work directly with FO trading on building out their tooling.
  • Track the delivery and execution of the AIS and SRT IT team and collaborate and coordinate across other RAMPP groups (including Quants).
  • Collaborate with developers to put together a plan for Murex migration and enhancements to technology stack for SRT business.
  • Effective monitoring and escalation to the overall programme team/stakeholders.
  • Develop and track project milestones and timelines.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Relevant industry knowledge – background of working in Capital Markets business-driven projects.
  • Able to develop and maintain a consolidated work plan with intra and inter-stream dependencies.
  • Able to develop and maintain risks and issues log.
  • Good written and communication skills.
  • Financial Product knowledge and business analysis experience.
  • MS Office suite of applications.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within global teams with traders, middle office, and IT.
  • Ability to chair Working groups/meetings.

Nice-to-have

  • Previous experience on JIRA.
  • Agile project methodology.
