The Global Asset Management (GAM) legal team is looking to staff a Senior Counsel role located in London supporting RBC BlueBay’s investment management business.
What will you do?
- Advise and assist on a wide range of matters concerning RBC BlueBay’s investment management business including but not limited to:
- drafting and negotiating client agreements including investment management agreements
- drafting and negotiating distribution and platform agreements
- drafting and negotiating a range of other commercial agreements
- client due diligence and RFPs
- provide legal advice on business initiatives
- assist the business in identifying and responding to regulatory change.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- Extensive PQE.
- Experience in asset management either gained in private practice or in-house.
- Good knowledge of UK and EU legal and regulatory matters relevant to asset management.
- Sets high standards of performance for self and strives to meet challenging objectives.
- Acts with integrity and within both the spirit and the letter of RBC BlueBay's principles, policies and procedures.
- Considers own role within the commercial context and focuses on the client.
