What is the opportunity?
The Compliance Manager will support the management, governance, and reporting processes of the RCM (Regulatory Compliance Management) program for Europe across two segments (CM & WM) and their lines of business. The role ensures that RBC Europe\’s RCM remains current, accurate, and aligned with the global RCM program. It also involves oversight of governance and reporting for other Asia Pacific RCM programs.
The position provides support to the Compliance COO, Europe and APAC, regarding regulatory and compliance matters.
This is a full-time role requiring a minimum of 4 days in the office per week, with an option to work one day from home.
What will you do?
- Support European Compliance Teams and the 1LOD with Control Standards and related technology across the 4 RCM pillars: Regulatory Content, Risk Assessments, Monitoring & Testing, and Issues Management.
- Assist in maintaining and updating Regulatory Content inventories for European jurisdictions, including managing change requests.
- Help prepare materials for the RCM Governance Committee, assist with presentations, and minute meetings.
- Develop and improve reporting and metrics for insightful analysis.
- Deliver training, respond to ad hoc inquiries, prepare reports, facilitate discussions, and liaise with regional and enterprise compliance teams.
- Maintain and submit user access requests for key compliance tools and SharePoint.
- Coordinate with European and APAC Compliance teams for quarterly CCO Opinion reporting inputs.
