RBC Brewin Dolphin - Wealth Paraplanner

What is the opportunity?

We have an excellent opportunity for a Wealth Paraplanner to join the Oxford office. As a Paraplanner, you will have a broad understanding of core Financial Planning solutions and build knowledge through exposure to client planning scenarios. You will analyse our clients\’ aims and needs to construct solutions as a tool for advisors to communicate to clients.

RBC’s expectation is that all employees and contractors will work in the office with some flexibility to work up to 1 day per week remotely, depending on working arrangements.

What will you do?

• Provide appropriate support to Wealth Managers.
• Facilitate the smooth processing of new and existing business.
• Liaise with any administration support.
• Assist with monitoring the performance and work throughput of any administration support thereby ensuring standards are maintained and deadlines are met.
• Produce robust financial plans and analytical information in support of Wealth Managers under supervision of more senior team members.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

• CII Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a Paraplanner
• Accuracy, numeracy, attention to detail.
• Clear and concise communication skills – oral and written.
• Ability to meet deadlines/work within restricted timescales.

Nice-to-have

• Working towards CII Level 6 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning or equivalent
