Overview
What is the opportunity?
We have an excellent opportunity for a Wealth Paraplanner to support the team of Wealth Managers across our Leeds office. As a Paraplanner, you will have a broad understanding of core Financial Planning solutions and build knowledge through exposure to client planning scenarios. You will analyse our clients\’ aims and needs to construct solutions as a tool for advisors to communicate to clients.
RBC’s expectation is that from mid-September 2025, all employees and contractors will work in the office with some flexibility to work up to 1 day per week remotely, depending on working arrangements.
Responsibilities
- Provide appropriate support to Wealth Managers.
- Analyse client’s aims and needs to construct solutions as a tool for advisors to communicate to clients.
- Production of robust financial plans and analytical information in support of Wealth Managers under supervision of more senior team members.
- Facilitate the smooth processing of new and existing business.
- Liaise with any administration support.
- Assist with monitoring the performance and work throughput of any administration support thereby ensuring standards are maintained and deadlines are met.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- CII Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Paraplanner
- Accuracy, numeracy, attention to detail.
- Clear and concise communication skills – oral and written.
- Ability to meet deadlines/work within restricted timescales.
Nice-to-have
- Working towards CII Level 6 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning or equivalent
