As an Associate Director, Wealth Manager, you will be responsible for delivering business targets, revenue growth, cumulative asset growth, client relationship management and leading digital adoption. You will have an enhanced focus on maintaining existing client relationships and identifying new opportunities through key origination tactics and networks. You will deliver net revenue growth by focusing on achieving net sales targets.

What will you do?

  • Responsible for the management of a client base, developing and maintaining existing client relationships, and further increasing business with the generation of new clients.
  • Consistently leading interactions to gain a full understanding of clients and prospects financial goals, personal goals, and ambitions.
  • Operating with a growth mindset, managing a new business target, managing business development activities, and contributing towards the achievement of the office targets.
  • Consistently articulating the full breadth of the RBC proposition (e.g. investment, planning, lending, cash, and trust solutions) to clients and prospects.
  • Working as part of the broader wealth management team, and introducing the right specialists to client relationships, where required, to enhance client experience and deliver exceptional client outcomes.
  • Always ensure clients are referred internally to ‘home of best fit’.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to ensure team members’ professional growth and delivery of exceptional services.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Level 4 CISI or CII.
  • Demonstrable experience within a client facing wealth management role.
  • Proven relationship management skills, with ability to understand client needs, the knowledge and communication skills to identify and articulate solutions and the integrity to earn the client’s trust.
  • An extremely detailed and diverse knowledge of business sectors, current business developments, market trends, and financial products and services to effectively communicate with clients.
  • Acts as a role model and demonstrates a high degree of capacity to drive positive behaviours in colleagues.

Nice-to-have

  • Working towards or obtained further professional qualifications e.g. CISI PCIAM, CII Advanced Diploma, Chartered Wealth Manager or equivalent.
