Business to Business (B2B) Marketing Executive within Wealth Management Europe. You will be part of the B2B Marketing team responsible for attracting new B2B customers, deepening existing client relationships, and driving share of wallet across Intermediaries, IFAs, Charities, Lawyers, Accountants, Fiduciary & partnership teams within WME while mitigating attrition risk. The team collaborates with regions and branches to deliver local client networking events, peer‑to‑peer networks and marketing campaigns for new and existing products that drive trust, loyalty, up‑sell, cross‑sell and inter‑generational opportunities. The role focuses on implementing marketing strategies for B2B channels across the British Isles and supporting the B2B sales process through strategic marketing efforts.

What will you do?

  • Campaign Planning and Execution: Execute and optimise B2B marketing campaigns such as digital marketing, content marketing, email marketing, social media, events, and more, designed to generate leads, nurture prospects and ultimately drive sales.
  • Lead Generation and Conversion: Execute lead‑generation strategies set out by the Director and management team to attract potential clients and convert them into qualified leads for the sales team, developing compelling content, implementing lead capture mechanisms and utilising marketing automation tools.
  • Content Development: Create relevant and valuable content with the RBC WME content team, tailored to B2B audiences – thought‑leadership, case studies, webinars and social posts that address the unique challenges and needs of businesses and demonstrate the value of RBC’s products or services.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Work with the RBC WME research team to conduct market research and analysis to understand industry trends, competitive landscape, customer behaviours and pain points, using this information to refine marketing strategies and make data‑driven decisions.
  • Collaboration with Sales Teams: Work closely with sales teams to align marketing efforts with the sales process, ensuring a seamless transition of leads from marketing to sales, collaborating on defining target accounts, creating account‑based marketing strategies and supporting the sales team with relevant materials.
  • Measurement and Reporting: Ensure KPIs and metrics are tracked to ascertain the effectiveness of marketing efforts, regularly analysing and reporting on campaign performance and making data‑driven adjustments to optimise outcomes.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including product management and business development/sales, to ensure marketing strategies align with broader company initiatives. Manage external agency projects.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Strong marketing experience, ideally within a B2B environment with a keen understanding of campaign and event management within wealth management or financial services.
  • Background in investments, wholesale asset management, legal firms or banking services to understand the B2B offerings and networks within wealth management.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and ability to work independently and manage own workload to meet deadlines.
  • High standard of written and spoken English with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Budget management skills/experience.
  • Advanced working knowledge of the Microsoft365 suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
  • Create core processes and manuals and ensure they are always current and up to date.

Nice‑to‑Have Qualifications

  • Degree educated or similar/equivalent.
  • Preferably holding or studying for an advanced CIM qualification or equivalent, and/or investment certificate.
  • Previous experience in professional services, investment firms or a bank.
