What is the opportunity?

The role of Manager, Tax Operations and Reporting is responsible for providing technical support and maintenance of procedures, controls, and systems to ensure the business meets its FATCA/CRS/QI regulatory obligations as well as ongoing governance of regulatory FATCA, CRS & QI control frameworks.

What will you do?

  • Provide technical review of FATCA/CRS/QI documentation provided by clients and investors as part of Onboarding and Client Lifecycle.
  • Respond to queries from client facing professionals, product specialists and other business teams on FATCA/CRS & QI related queries in line with any internally agreed timelines.
  • Support annual FATCA/CRS/QI reporting cycle liaising with stakeholders to ensure accurate and on-time filing of returns.
  • Identify and escalate emerging issues and risks through the agreed issue management framework.
  • Review and maintenance of team procedures and ensuring these are kept updated and in line with Enterprise FATCA/CRS/QI policy and any local tax authority requirements.
  • Involvement in user acceptance testing of system enhancements and upgrade releases.
  • Support with annual client outreach and business processes related to the collection of data from clients required to ensure accurate tax reporting.
  • Assist with developing training materials and providing training to various stakeholders within the business.
  • Provide support to team members with reviewing queries arising within the business working with individuals to develop their knowledge.
  • Review existing team processes and controls and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Supports the resolution of issues that arise from client queries or complaints.
