What is the opportunity?
You will ensure accurate, timely, and complete pricing and reference data to support trading activity, NAV calculations, client reporting, and regulatory reporting.
Maintain data integrity across core systems, resolve exceptions, and drive continuous process improvements.
What will you do?
- Maintain security, fund, broker, benchmark, and reference data in key systems (IVP Security Master, Simcorp Dimension, Charles River, and Wall Street Office).
- Execute daily pricing of bonds, derivatives, equities, loans, and manage exceptions within IVP Price Master and verify values using market data platforms (Bloomberg, Pricing Direct, ICE Data Services, Refinitiv, and S&P).
- Investigate and resolve pricing and reference data issues.
- Identify new control gaps and recommend mitigation measures.
- Analyse large data sets using Excel, VBA, SQL, Python.
- Collaborate with internal teams on new initiatives, ensuring correct data flow and translations.
- Maintain stakeholder relationships (Investment Desks, IT, Risk, Fund Accounting, Performance & Attribution).
- Engage with system upgrade projects and monitor for data or process change impacts.
- Provide weekly updates to senior management.
What do you need to succeed?
- Must-have Demonstrable experience in a Data Analyst role, preferably within Asset Management.
- Data literacy, advanced skills in Excel.
- Python knowledge (Intermediate).
- Demonstrable usage of generative AI.
- Strong communication skills.
- Nice-to-have Degree in STEM or Finance.
- SQL knowledge.
- Security mastering experience.
