This is a junior IT Analyst role which focuses on handling routine IT issues, supporting end users, and building foundational skills in technical problem-solving across RBC BlueBay.
RBC's expectation is that all employees and contractors will work in the office with some flexibility to work up to 1 day per week remotely, depending on working arrangements.
What will you do?
- Provide basic IT support including simple troubleshooting and initial assessment of incidents and service requests reported to the RBC BlueBay Service Desk.
- Handle routine user requests such as password resets, basic software guidance, and account access issues with minimal supervision.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with users across email, chat, phone, and in person.
- Assist in diagnosing common issues across desktop, laptops, and basic applications (Windows, M365), escalating complex matters appropriately.
- Support basic hardware tasks including equipment setup, moves, and simple installations.
- Learn advanced troubleshooting techniques through mentorship and structured training programs.
What do you need to succeed?
- Must-have: This is a junior role but some experience in the financial industry would be largely beneficial. Basic IT support or technical experience.
- Nice to have: Degree educated but not essential. Any recognized IT qualification.
