Role Overview

The Director of the Investment Marketing team leads a team of marketing professionals in building and delivering compelling marketing plans for UK and European markets. The focus is on alternatives, fixed‑income, and equities, targeting intermediary and institutional investors across multiple countries.

Responsibilities

  • Align business and marketing strategies with distribution to develop and execute regional marketing plans and campaigns for intermediary and institutional channels across all major European markets.
  • Collaborate with the wider team to deliver campaigns that directly support business growth, including journeys, new practices, and AI initiatives.
  • Work with content and product marketing teams to create thought‑leadership content and ensure accurate translations across the funnel.
  • Partner with digital marketing to adopt a digital‑first, data‑oriented approach, leveraging all digital channels, defining KPIs, monitoring performance, and reporting insights to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with brand, sponsorship, and events teams to plan and execute strategy around key events and brand activities, maximizing impact and lead generation.
  • Lead and manage stakeholder relationships internally (distribution, investment, and business teams) and with third‑party media and agencies.
  • Define regional plans, budgets, scheduling, and delivery in close collaboration with distribution teams.

Qualifications

  • Significant marketing experience in the asset‑management industry, with knowledge of alternatives, fixed‑income, and equities.
  • Strong stakeholder‑management skills and the ability to build trust quickly across all levels.
  • Experience leading marketing teams, campaigns, and stakeholder relationships within intermediary and institutional channels.
  • Advanced project and process‑management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects.
  • Technical understanding of metrics and data, plus the ability to analyse and communicate campaign outcomes to drive improvement.
