What is the opportunity?
To join as an Analyst within the European Consumer, Retail and Leisure team within investment banking. You will support the marketing and execution of M&A, debt, equity and other financial advisory services.
What will you do?
- Assisting in the execution of mandated deals
- Assisting in preparation of marketing pitchbooks and related materials
- Gathering public information through numerous sources
- Creating financial model analyses
- Analyzing company performance on an absolute and relative basis
- Drafting marketing documents for clients
- Producing and maintaining various databases
- General research
- Provide support to other transaction teams as required.
What do you need to succeed?
Must have
- University degree or equivalent
- Extensive investment banking experience or equivalent
- Strong analytical skills (financial modelling)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Computer software skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Hardworking, enthusiastic, and professional work ethic
- Knowledge of Investment Banking services and the ability to apply them creatively to diverse client needs.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
Nice to have
- An additional European language would be an advantage.
