The predicted salary is between 43200 - 72000 £ per year.

The HRBP role will partner with business leaders to provide advice and counsel on all aspects of human resources including talent management, diversity, employee engagement, organisational design, restructuring, change management, workforce management, leadership and employee development, performance management and rewards and recognition. You will report into the Senior HR Business Partner for Functions and T&O, Europe and be based in our London, 100 Bishopsgate offices. This position will require you to work in the office 4 days out of 5.

What will you do?

  • Partner with Senior Leaders to advance the talent review and succession processes to ensure the most effective use of talent.
  • Provide developmental assignments or appropriate learning interventions.
  • Align to broader Annual Talent Processes (ATP) to meet broader HR deliverables.
  • Support the D&I strategy through strategic, consultative advice and partnership to business leaders.
  • Deliver workstreams in partnership with business and D&I partners.
  • Partner with the business on transformation programmes and drive associated people change initiatives, including target operating model review, spans and layers, culture programmes and headcount reductions.
  • Provide guidance and direction on compensation processes with business leaders and contribute to the development and evolution of compensation strategies through knowledge of HR policies, legislation, regulation to support good governance.
  • Provide leadership and direction in establishing performance management and drive a performance enablement culture to align with the broader business strategy and culture.
  • Support a reward for performance culture and alignment to the broader regulatory requirements.
  • Lead with the business in assessing and strengthening leadership depth and employee capability through support of integrated leadership programs and development opportunities and ongoing people decisions.
  • Provide effective leadership and/or support for strategic and Global HR projects as well as contribute to continuous process improvements to enhance employee and manager experience.
  • As part of the Functions and T&O team, collaborate and support on local/global projects and initiatives subject to business demand.

What do you need to succeed?

  • Must have experience as an HR Business Partner.
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies and practices.
  • Knowledge of financial services and the regulatory environment is preferred.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Manage in a matrixed organisation and provide coaching and mentoring to various employee groups.
  • Ability to lead initiatives and proven project management skills.
  • Experience working with Technology & Operations stakeholders would be an advantage.
