This role works closely with front office Quant, Technology and Trading teams on maintaining and refining the existing trading platform, along with managing trade and risk EMEA Flow books.

What is the opportunity?
We have an exciting opportunity to join our London team as an Associate, Junior Flow Trader on a permanent basis. This role works closely with front office Quant, Technology and Trading teams on maintaining and refining the existing trading platform, along with managing trade and risk EMEA Flow books.
What will you do?
- Be involved in the day-to-day pricing and risk management of the Flow books in EMEA.
- Work with Traders to develop quantitative analytics tools in Python, make use of the existing codebase and add new additions as required.
- Make use of the quant library and implement new additions.
- Identify, escalate and remediate issues that could directly or indirectly lead to the unfair treatment of customers; and that could affect the firms’ obligations to deliver good outcomes for retail clients in accordance with the FCA Consumer Duty Principle.
- Work with Front Office BT on refining and maintaining existing technology platform.
- Support with generating new trade ideas.
Must-have
- Undergraduate/Graduate degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics, Mathematics or a related discipline.
- Strong object-oriented programming background.
- Knowledge of programming languages (Python)
- Quantitative and coding skills.
- Knowledge of programming languages (SQL, VBA, C++/Java)
- Finance/Derivatives knowledge.
