What is the opportunity?
RBC are seeking a dynamic, energetic, and entrepreneurial Associate to join our Healthcare Investment Banking team. In this role, you will bring intellectual curiosity, strong analytical capabilities, and a collaborative mindset to support complex transactions and strategic advisory mandates. This role offers exposure to complex deals across pharmaceuticals, medical devices, healthcare services, and life sciences, providing an exceptional platform to develop expertise in one of the most dynamic sectors in capital markets.
What will you do?
- Assist in execution of mandated deals
- Assist in preparation of marketing pitchbooks and related materials
- Gather public information through numerous sources
- Create financial model analyses
- Generate models for valuation metrics
- Build company forecast models
- Draft marketing documents such as Confidential Information Memorandums for sell-side and/or financing assignments
- Produce and maintain various databases
- General research
What do you need to succeed?
Must Have
- Strong experience in company valuation and operational evaluation
- CFA level 1, 2 or 3 or ACA/ACCA Qualified preferred
- Extensive experience in Investment Banking or Big 4 Transaction advisory is essential
- Demonstrated interest and passion for the Healthcare sector
Nice to Have
- Prior experience in Healthcare transactions or Healthcare sector knowledge
