What is the opportunity?
RBC Private Wealth is seeking an Associate to join the Client Management team, with a focus on supporting private clients. The role of Associate is responsible for providing an excellent service to our clients and support the wider relationship management team in the development of profitable new business for Wealth Management Europe (WME) and the wider RBC organisation. As an Associate, you will provide clients with a trusted and professional point of contact for matters relating to their financial affairs and support the development of the business in line with RBC strategy and any regional business guidelines. RBC’s expectation is that from mid-September 2025, all employees and contractors will work in the office with some flexibility to work up to 1 day per week remotely, depending on working arrangements.
What will you do?
- Deliver an unrivalled client experience and support Relationship Managers in delivering new and sustainable revenues for WME, in line with the Sales & Relationship Management Sales Methodology.
- Provide full expert support within the client team by acting as a point of contact for our clients.
- Assist in the planning / implementing of investments and other service offerings and the day-to-day functional / administrative support of the clients’ portfolios.
- Act as a point of escalation to resolve issues where required and escalating and reporting all risk events and near misses immediately.
- Adhere to all internal policies and procedures as well as regulatory requirements on a day-to-day basis to ensure business requirements are being always met as part of the Culture of Excellence.
- Develop a strong knowledge of products and subsequent policies and procedures to carry out and service clients appropriately.
- Accurate and comprehensive record keeping against all client interactions, monitoring and completing upcoming annual reviews before they become overdue, communicating with clients effectively and appropriately.
- Develop relationships and liaise regularly with business partners / product specialists; supporting the Client Management Associate Directors by providing timely feedback.
- Support WME Business Management by identifying inefficiencies to internal processes and making appropriate recommendations to rectify them.
- Ensure up to date and accurate maintenance of all critical information including CRM, contact management, record keeping, call reports and sales pipeline.

- Proven experience in Wealth Management in an Associate or Administration role or similar.
- Being self motivated with the ability to learn on the go
- Business and relationship development skills.
- Experience working within a matrix organisation, managing internal relationships and influencing partners.
- Knowledge of business sectors, market trends and financial products.

- Desire to complete professional qualifications.
