The Chief Administration Office (CAO) provides support to our Client Facing Teams (CFT), driving success through three core principles: Protect, Sustain, and Grow. We safeguard client outcomes, enhance productivity, and create capacity for new business opportunities.
Reporting to the Head of CAO Business Change Solutions, the Lead Change Manager leads adoption and organisational change delivery for strategically important, complex transformations across the client facing business within RBC Wealth Management Europe (WME). You will own adoption strategy for all CAO led projects and partner with the Head of Business Solutions on portfolio‑level change saturation and readiness. You drive adoption outcomes that align with WME strategic priorities and ensure sustainable, measurable business value realisation.
What will you do?
- Lead CAO business‑owned initiatives (regulatory, process, and strategy) with client impact focus.
- Partner with the wider WME Business Change & Transformation team on enterprise technology projects, ensuring business representation and readiness standards compliance.
- Lead comprehensive change readiness planning and execution, including capability assessment, training coordination, and go‑live change activities.
- Manage across multiple project workstreams; coordinate change activities and resolve dependencies and conflicts.
- Champion good project governance; ensure projects adhere to the RBC governance model and all required artefacts are used.
- Measure success through KPIs, risk reduction, efficiency gains, and client experience improvements.
- Work with business and technical stakeholders and other areas of CAO to identify business impacts that will impact on delivery feasibility.
- Track project risks, issues, actions and dependencies ensuring all risks, actions and issues have resolution paths.
- Use methodologies, tools and documentation appropriate to the project or programme (such as using agile or waterfall).
- Work within the team to ensure solutions are appropriate.
- Support the implementation of solutions through communication with stakeholders, involvement in business testing, and participation in business and technical readiness activities.
What do you need to succeed?
Must‑have:
- Proven track record leading adoption for transformation projects.
- Demonstrated success driving business value through adoption (benefits realisation, user adoption targets).
- Experience in highly regulated environments.
- Experience mentoring and developing change practitioners.
- Expert‑level adoption planning and change impact assessment.
- Strategic thinking; able to see beyond immediate project to broader business implications.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint).
- Experience with project management tooling.
- RAID log management and risk tracking.
