We have an exciting opportunity for a professional and client‑focused Receptionist to join our team in the Manchester office. As the first point of contact for our valued clients, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional service and creating a welcoming atmosphere that reflects our commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Meeting and greeting clients, offering refreshments, and ensuring rooms are available.
  • Handling telephone enquiries and ensuring they are dealt with effectively.
  • Liaising with contractors or couriers visiting the office.
  • Car park management for allocated spaces.
  • Booking meeting rooms through Teams/Outlook calendar.
  • Processing invoices through the COUPA system.
  • Maintaining the office calendar with all internal and external appointments for all colleagues.
  • Email management.
  • Dealing with incoming post, saving using the electronic filing system and distributing to the office.
  • General electronic filing and any other appropriate duties that may be required.
  • Arranging refreshments/lunches when required.
  • General office duties – ensuring fridges are fully stocked, coffee machines are set up and the meeting rooms are tidy.
  • Issuing security passes for staff and visitors.
  • Providing support to the team with regards to parking/travel/hotel arrangements, checking, and sending confirmations.
  • Health and Safety / Fire Safety roles.
  • Ordering stationery supplies to ensure sufficient stock.
  • Other ad‑hoc duties as and when required.

Qualifications

Must‑Have

  • Previous experience working within a reception environment or a client‑facing role; highly client‑driven and able to build and maintain professional relationships with colleagues.
  • Experience in delivering a consistently elevated level of customer service.
  • Experience with MS Word/Outlook/Excel.
  • Professional telephone manner.

Nice‑to‑Have

  • Adaptable and able to deal with the changing needs of the business.
  • Knowledgeable and competent in navigating technology‑based systems.
  • Strong ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
