We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Business Insights Associate to join either our Cardiff or London CAO team!

Responsibilities
- Data Collection and
Cleansing: Partner with the Data Office to collate, clean and consolidate large data sets to produce meaningful insights and support stakeholders in making data-driven decisions by providing actionable recommendations.
- Interpretation & Insights: Use statistical methods and analytical tools to interpret data sets, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
- Reporting / Presenting: Develop and present reports, dashboards, and visualisations using BI tools to communicate findings to stakeholders.
Maintain and innovate existing reports and dashboards.
- Performance
Monitoring: Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the business and identify areas for improvement.
Analyse high volumes of data quickly and efficiently, perform anomaly detections in large data sets, investigate and identify causes and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaboration: Regular engagement and stakeholder management across the wider BD network and business partners / teams such as IT, Change, Finance, Marketing, Business Management and Operations, ensuring engagement with SMEs from across the business at both junior and senior levels and distilling key messages for and from these relationships.
- Support data visualisations and ongoing compilation of platform data.
- Work in partnership with all business functions to deliver insights, defining & monitoring, generating actionable insights and supporting deployment of business / customer‑centric strategies.

- Proven track record of analysing large datasets to derive meaningful insights and presenting them in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities with a passion for data and data tools.
- Comfortable challenging assumptions and providing insight‑based recommendations.
- A positive, flexible, can‑do attitude with natural curiosity and keenness for continuous learning.
- Ability to clearly communicate complex data insights to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Confident, approachable and willing to build strong relationships.
- Nice‑to‑have
- Experience working in a business undergoing significant change is highly favourable.
- An understanding of the financial services industry, including regulatory or customer‑outcome frameworks and knowledge of customer behaviour, journeys and how customers interact with products and services.
- Strong skills in SQL, Excel and Python or any other data analysis tools with exposure to working with large datasets.
