We help clients meet their financial goals through investments, financial planning, trust, credit, and banking capabilities.

Opportunity

You will be principally responsible for delivering net revenue growth for the Intermediary business by focusing on achieving team and individual net sales targets set under the location leadership. You will help drive efficiency within the team to sustain business growth while ensuring good Adviser and client outcomes. A key part of the role will entail client relationship management, leading digital adoption, and supporting other team members and colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a client base of Advisers and their underlying clients, maintaining existing relationships and partnering with Business Development Managers to grow the business through new Adviser relationships.
  • Conduct broad and deep conversations with Advisers, clients and prospects to understand their financial and personal goals.
  • Present portfolio performance and timely market insights to clients and Advisers, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of investments and strong presentation skills.
  • Proactively originate new business opportunities through Advisers.
  • Network to seek opportunities with current, new and potential Advisers and clients, and support business development events.
  • Articulate the full breadth of the RBC Adviser proposition and solutions to existing and prospective Advisers and clients.
  • Drive efficiency within the branch office/team to sustain business growth while ensuring positive client outcomes.
  • Operate with a growth mindset, embody operational excellence, and contribute to the achievement of the branch business plan.
  • Understand existing and new digital capabilities, driving client adoption as part of the overall advice-led, wealth‑management proposition.
  • Meet FCA qualification and internal requirements for authorisation to create and sign off Investment Proposals and manage clients’ assets in line with the Investment Mandate.
  • Adhere to group values, policies, procedures and working practices, operating within a risk‑management framework and Conduct Risk Standards.

Qualifications

  • Level 6 CISI or CII (Level 4 may be considered with extensive experience).
  • Significant experience within a wealth‑management role.
  • Proven relationship‑management skills, able to understand client needs, communicate solutions and earn client trust.
  • Extensive knowledge of business sectors, market trends and financial products to communicate effectively with clients.
  • Acts as a role model and demonstrates a strong capacity to influence positive behaviour in team members and colleagues.
