We have an excellent opportunity for a Wealth Paraplanner to join our team in Bath. As a Paraplanner, you will have a broad understanding of core Financial Planning solutions and have gained knowledge through exposure to client planning scenarios. You will analyse our clients' aims and needs to construct solutions as a tool for advisors to communicate to clients. You will provide guidance to more junior team members and support senior team members to complete tasks in a timely manner and to a high standard for the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed financial plans, suitability reports, and recommendation documents for Wealth Managers.
  • Support the preparation of client review and new client meetings.
  • Conduct research and analysis across investments, pensions, protection, and tax planning strategies.
  • Review client portfolios, ensuring recommendations align with objectives, risk tolerance, and compliance requirements.
  • Liaise with Wealth Managers, Administrators, and product providers to ensure the smooth delivery of advice and implementation.
  • Maintain accurate client records and support the ongoing development of advice processes.

Required skills and qualifications

Must-have

  • Attained CII Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning or equivalent as minimum, and ideally working towards CII Level 6 or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as a Paraplanner.
  • Strong understanding of financial planning principles, tax wrappers, pensions, and investments.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with colleagues and clients.
  • Confident using financial planning software.
  • Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Nice-to-have

  • Attained CII Level 6 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning or equivalent.
