This role is suited to an experienced electrician who is confident working independently and takes ownership of their work. You will be working across a range of projects including:

  • High-end residential installations
  • Commercial fit-outs and office environments
  • Full electrical installations and upgrades

  • Maintenance, fault finding and reactive works

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out installations in line with drawings, specifications, and BS 7671
  • Install containment, cabling and equipment to a high standard
  • Gland, terminate and test LV, ELV and data systems
  • Diagnose and resolve faults efficiently
  • Work safely at height following all health & safety procedures
  • Coordinate effectively with other trades and site teams
  • Ensure all work is completed on time and to a consistent standard

Essential Qualifications:

  • NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installations (or equivalent)
  • AM2
  • 18th Edition (BS 7671)
  • ECS / JIB Card
  • Proven experience in commercial and/or high-end residential work

Practical Requirements:

  • Own tools suitable for installation and fault finding preferred
  • Ability to work independently without reliance on others
  • Driving licence and access to transport advantageous
  • Willingness to work across multiple sites
  • Strong sense of responsibility for own work and output

Working Pattern & Nature of Work:

Working hours are generally aligned to site requirements and project demands. Typical site hours are around 8:00am – 4:30pm, however this may vary depending on the job. Some days may start earlier or finish earlier depending on site access and workload. Due to the nature of our work, daily locations and plans may change at short notice in response to client requirements. This role suits someone who is adaptable, organised, and able to manage their time effectively across varying sites.

Engagement type:

This role is offered on a self-employed (CIS) basis. Ongoing work is available for the right individual. Work is allocated based on project requirements and workload.
